Cruise Control

On a recent trip to California I noticed a somewhat peculiar sign, which as it turned out was a common sign in Marysville, California. When you drive across a small bridge on the main street of another town, Yuba, California. Yuba has no such restrictions.

I never inquired as to why the cruising is banned in Marysville, but it certainly is. This is why local groups must police themselves and their members. When you organize a cruise or participate in one, don't abuse the privilege of being allowed to do so. If you obey the rules of the road and don't inconvenience or annoy the public, then the authorities should have no justification in objecting to what you are doing. We all know that there are usually one or two drivers at any cruise or gathering who want to show off, do burnouts and etc. They are not normally the ones with the better cars and they have to be controlled and held in check or everyone is going to suffer.

It's up to you, use a little peer pressure. Don't let this happen here!
