| And yet another garage tour that has been dreamed up and planned by Bryon Dearborn. The arrangements are made and we meet at 8:30 am in Langley. This tour was on Saturday, 20-APR-02, kind of cloudy and cool but dry and a good chance to get the cars out. There was a good turn out of cars and the ride would be good. | |

So at 9:00 we headed off to the east going up the Fraser Valley. Approximately a half hour later we turned off the highway and went into the farmland. |
| We drove along some country roads and came upon a rather ordinary looking farm. From the road, the grounds were nicely kept, trimmed hedge. But once past the gates you are thrown into another world. | ![]() |

| Our host has spent a huge amount of time reconstructing an old gas station from the 1930's and a general store as a companion. | ![]() |

There is a replica of a Willy's garage and car show room, complete with era memorabilia. The old soda bottles and commercial ice box machine for the pop bottles. All the Willys ads and signage. At the country General Store you can get you garden tools, food stuffs, some in the original packaging, buy a dress for your girl friend or shop for some dinner silverware and dishes. |
| A little further down the lane there is another showroom from the fifties with 2 very nice Chevy's of the day, a sharp looking '57 and a very clean '56. Like the Willy's Dealership down the road a little, the Chevy place had it's parts counter and memorabilia as well. The tunes from the jukebox were of the fifties. | ![]() |

The back end of the parts department. Left front fenders, and matching rights, hoods, grilles, doors, headlight buckets, headlight lenses, tail light lens and buckets, batteries, fan belts, brake shoes, wheels and tires, all for the Willys, all original. |

Can you imagine, walking through the fields and coming across this site. Oh . . . Oh . . . Oh, yup!, can see it now, phantom flames over the hood, nice little 5.0L stuffed between the front wheels, slightly tubbed, slammed, House of Colors tangelo orange with oyster grey leather interior, kickass stereo, American Torque Thrust II's and a nice little cup holder for my Starbucks brushed aluminum coffee mug. |

Potential !
