A 2 day event that started out as an idea that
eventually was put to paper. Then the idea was presented to the Association
at large and there was enthusiasm and participation. Jerry Carvelli's dream
was about to come true. With a little help from fellow members and a lot of
help from Donna, the sketches on paper went to a full all out plan. It started
to take shape on Friday, 01-MAR-02, the weather sucked big time. It was cold,
windy and raining heavily. There was a lot of mopping up when the cars started
to roll in, and a lot of wiping down and drying of the show vehicles. That
day Jerry's plan was a reality, it was there, you could see it and touch it.
And, as it was taking shape, Jerry was excited and a nervous wreck at the
same time.
For the next 2 days the show was well attended and the traffic around the display at times was heavy if not constant. It looked good!
The following is just a sample of what was going on there. Unfortunately not all the pictures turned out well enough to show on the website, so our apologies to those who are missed, it wasn't intentional. The B.C.H.R.A. walked away with a fair number of trophies that weekend as well. And of course who got the best display ? Well, duh! . . . . . . . Congratulations Jerry !
