Description:

Paint: Spies Hecker made the authentic looking Ferrari red. The body line, all the louvers and the gas tank cover louvers are painted a golpearl over the red. It really is too bad these pics don't give the glory of this little touch. The paint job was done by our own member 'Bodo".

Engine: The typical Chevy engine has been bored .030 over to give it a full 406 cubic inches of power. The insides contain TRW pistons and a steel crank. The 441 heads have had the runners ported and polished for the have 2.02 and 1.60 valves. An Isky cam helps to deliver some of the power that is put out in concert with the tri-power carb and manifold. Pete Jackson does the gear drive.

Drivetrain: Hooked up to the back of the above power plant is a TH350 with a Trans-Go shift kit. A Ford 9" rearend has 3.50 gears. The rear suspension consists of some Koni coilover springs, panhard bar and a custom made rear stabilizer bar that helps with the cornering.

Interior:  The custom interior is done in prodominently black and grey with some red piping. The front bucket seats are out of a Hyundai with the rear seats narrowed. The luggage compartment is behinf the back seat that tilts forward for the access.

Miscellaneous: The wheels are Halibrands, 4.5" up front and 8" wide in the back. The Super Bell axle has a 4" drop on it and a four bar system up front. The brakes are via Mustang.
